So May has come! Summer is just around the corner!
Paris is warmer and nicer and I am able to hang out with my blazers and light-coloured pants! Actually I always love wearing white or cream pants no matter it is winter or summer… just that now people can look at me like I’m normal because it’s getting warm.
Finally I have a chance to visit Foundation Louis Vuitton. Such a great work of architecture! Opening last October, the building of glass sails situates on the edge of Bois de Boulogne (Boulogne forest) and Jardin d’Acclimatation (zoo park). If you loves abstract and graphic lines and shapes, this work of art is a must-see. They also have contemporary art exhibitions and a permanent collection of expressionist and contemplative art, a garden, restaurant and bookshop, which are worth to spend at least 2 hours there. What I love the most is the open space on top of the building, in between the glass sails, opening to the sky and the green view of Bois de Boulogne and the Eiffel Tower from far.
I hesitated to publish this post because all photos were taken by iphone. Though after editing, they are not that bad but I’d like to always have more quality images for my blog. And you know, I have a Canon DSLR but it’s quite heavy to carry around, whereas I’m the girl who likes to have fun with my hands free (proof that I always wear cross-body bags). So I’m thinking about buying a compact camera. I don’t know which one yet, I need to do my research. If you know a good one, please let me know!
I’d like to publish more often of course. Summer is coming and I am free from school very soon! (It sounds like I’m a prisoner here but I’ve never been a good kid that loves going to school anyway! Though my grades have never been bad).
Blogging and taking photos is always my interest, that I do this totally just for my pleasure. A pleasure of sharing things, my inspiration, the things I see, the clothes I find, Paris…. So I was very surprised when recently I have been contacted by some people for collaboration, I’ve never done this before but I know I need to be very selective and consistent of the creative content that I have created. Maybe it’s time to invest more time into this blog. If my hobby can entertain and inspire someone else, I’d be even more happy to pursuit it.
See you soon after my final exam mid-june!
